6th Annual Fracas! Improv Festival: This three-day comedy festival runs from April 9th-11th at USC. The Festival features over 40 hours of improv from 23 college troupes around the country, as well as a number of discussion panels. Falafel Fridays at California Pita: Get a fully stuffed pita for only $1.99 at the Sherman Oaks location of California Pita every Friday! We haven't had the chance to try this out yet but Jeremiah has recommended it... and since he won our giveaway last month by recommending Sky's Tacos, we trust his opinions and can't wait to try it!

Soup Kitchen Fridays: Every Friday, The Edison features "depression era cocktails at depression era prices"...and we're so very okay with that! From 5pm - 7pm, you can enjoy complimentary grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup as well as gin & whiskey cocktails for 35 cents. I challenge you to find us a better way to spend our Friday evenings...

Archery Lessons at Rancho Park: We want to do a more extensive post about this so keep an eye out for that tomorrow. But yes, there are free archery lessons every Saturday morning and they are highly recommended!

Egg-cellent Magnolia Bicycle Tour: Hope on your bike and take a ride down Magnolia Blvd. this Saturday for an afternoon of holiday-themed fun and free gifts! We have been to past events at Magnolia Park in Burbank and it's always been a blast getting to know local small businesses and enjoying their free giveaways. And if you don't own a bike, I wouldn't worry about it too much...treat it as a nice walk! The event will take place from 3pm - 7pm; visit their site for more details.

Sunday:
Stand-Up Comedy at Hamburger Mary's: Hosts Jason Dudey and Pat Branch and a number of other comedians bring their comedy to Hamburger Mary's in West Hollywood on the second Sunday of every month! They also have drag contests on some Sundays, but that might be an afternoon thing. The comedy show (which boasts itself as "gay stand-up comedy for everyone... straights included!") runs from 7pm to 9pm and should provide some great free entertainment during your dinner. And seriously, what better way to celebrate Easter than with Gay stand up comedy?!
